Julia Kochetygova has been appointed Director of Corporate Relations of MDM Bank. Her responsibilities include coordination of the Bank’s external relations: investor, government and public relations as well as social programs.  Ms. Kochetygova will become a member of the Management Board when the Central Bank of Russia approves her candidacy.

Prior to joining MDM Bank Ms. Kochetygova was Director of Governance Services of Standard & Poor’s. Her responsibilities included global product management for Corporate Governance Scores (CGS), business development and analytical due diligence of corporate governance practices in Russia and other emerging markets. In her previous position with Standard & Poor’s, Ms. Kochetygova was responsible for business development for Standard & Poor’s in Russia and the CIS.

Before joining S&P in 2000, Ms. Kochetygova occupied a number of senior executive and analytical positions with SKATE Information and Consulting Agency (1995-1999), taught and carried out research work at the Higher School of Economics and the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Ms. Kochetygova graduated from the Moscow Institute of National Economy named after Plekhanov and a World Bank School of Market Economy, she holds Ph.D. in Economics.
