2001 - MDM Bank was given the Company of the Year award for 2001 in the financial category. The competition is organized by RIA RosBusinessConsulting, the public relations bureau RePublic, and the Business Open agency, with the support of the Trade and Industry Chamber of the Russian Federation.
2001 - In December MDM received for the first time credit ratings from Standard & Poor - 'CCC' (long-term), 'C' (short-term), outlook positive.
2001 - In July, Fitch affirmed MDM's existing credit ratings, and changed the outlook of the Bank's Long-term rating from stable to positive.
2000 - MDM was awarded the title of 'Best Domestic Bank in Russia' by Euromoney magazine. Domestically, MDM was named 'Best Underwriter of the Year' on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX).
2000 - Fitch raised MDM's Short-term and Long-term ratings to 'B' and 'B-' respectively. This was the first time a private Russian commercial bank had had its ratings raised to this level since the 1998 crisis.
1997 - MDM was rated for the first time by Fitch IBCA and Thomson Financial BankWatch.
