Andrey Ilyin

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

In April 2005 Andrey Ilyin was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MDM Bank. In 2004-2005 Mr. Ilyin was Head of International Business Development. Andrey Ilyin joined MDM Bank in October 2004. His experience includes several years at the London-based investment bank Sindicatum Ltd, five years at the London office of Nomura International, where he was responsible for EMEA and West European banking equity research, as well as four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Moscow, where he became qualified as a Certified Accountant.

Oleg Mashtalyar

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board
Chief Operating Officer

In October 2007, Oleg Mashtalyar was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. He is responsible for all operational support units of the Bank, implementation of the new central banking system of MDM Bank and establishment of an efficient system of internal interaction for providing client services. Oleg joined MDM Bank in 1996. Since January 1997, he has headed the Bank’s credit units which perform credit operations for corporate clients. He has taken an active role in shaping the Bank’s system and methodological documents related to credit operations (including credit policy, accounting, document flow and interaction among structural units). Since 2005, Oleg has headed the Bank’s Credit Committees.

Oleg held several positions at JSCB Nadezhny Bank in 1995 prior to joining MDM Bank. In 1994, he graduated with honors from Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman with a BSc in Engineering.

Natalia Blatova

Head of Retail Block

Natalia Blatova was appointed Head of the Retail Block in October 2007 and in December 2007 she became a member of the Bank’s Management Board. Natalia joined MDM Bank in October 2001. Since January 2005, she has served as Head of Business Development Corporate Banking and Chairman of the Tariff Committee. She has been responsible for the development of loan products for corporate clients and has led work on property insurance risks of the Bank, its branches and subsidiaries. In addition, Natalia has been responsible for administrative management of the Bank’s operating offices in Moscow and the Moscow Region in respect to the Bank’s Corporate Block.

Natalia began her banking career at Alfa Bank. From July 1995 to October 2001, she worked in several positions ranging from Account Manager to Deputy Chief of Services Management and Banking Standards Implementation. She handled issues related to client services and the activities of the Bank’s Business Center as well as the Bank’s transition to a new operating system and evaluation of systems and business processes at the Bank.

In 1991, Natalia graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with a degree in Physics of Metals. In 1998, she received a diploma in Stock Markets and Investment from the Higher School of Economics.

Alexey Drobot

Head of Corporate Investment Block

Alexey Drobot was appointed Head of the Corporate Investment Block in October 2007 and in November 2007 he became a member of the Management Board. Previously, Alexey was the Head of MDM Bank’s Corporate Block, where he was responsible for implementation of the Bank’s strategic objectives in work with corporate clients and managed the Bank’s corporate banking divisions.

Alexey joined MDM Bank in 2001 as Head of the Credit Department of the Novoarbatsky office. Successive appointments include Deputy Head of the Client Department of the Sukharevsky office as well as Head of the Central District Client Department. In 2006, he was appointed Head of the Moscow Network Development Department, where he managed large corporate client origination and client services.

Prior to joining MDM Bank in 2001, Alexey worked as Commercial Director and Deputy General Director of Finance at different companies. In 1999, he started his career in banking as a senior credit expert at KMB Bank.

Alexey graduated from the Leningrad Military-Naval College. In 1998, he received a degree from the Norilsk Industrial Institute and, in 2001, received a degree with honors in Finance and Credit from the State Academy of Finance.

Sergey Babayan

Deputy Head of Corporate Investment Block

In October 2007, Sergey Babayan was appointed Deputy Head of the Corporate Investment Block. Prior to this appointment, he headed the Investment Block.

Since July 2006, he headed the Debt Sales & Trading Division, which supervises the Bank’s activities in debt capital markets including development of sales of new debt issues, Eurobonds and CLNs as well as their trade in the secondary market and repurchase transactions of equity and bonds to Russian and foreign investors. He was also responsible for managing the Bank’s own debt investment portfolio.

Sergey has a wide experience in the banking sphere, which he started to gain before graduating from college. In 1992, he worked as Assistant to the Chairman of the Management Board of Promstroybank in Armenia. In 1993, he worked as a financial specialist in the joint venture Tereza Inter. During 1994–1996, he worked in the Investment Department of Technobank, where he had several positions ranging from specialist to unit head. In 1996, he joined ABN AMRO Bank, where he was responsible for fixed income trading. During 1997–2001, he headed the Department for Bond Trading at Troika Dialog Investment Company. During 2001–2006, Sergey worked at the Global Markets Division of Deutsche Bank, where he headed the Securities Trading Department and then established and headed the Department for Financial Instruments.

Sergey earned a degree in Credit and Finance from the Institute of National Economy of Armenia in 1994 and a degree in Banking from the State Academy of Finance in 1997.

Konstantin Leonov

Head of the Network Management Block

Konstantin Leonov was appointed Head of the Network Management Block in October 2007. He has been a member of the Bank’s Management Board since January 2008. Mr. Leonov has been with MDM Bank since 2001. From November 2001 through October 2007, he worked as Head of the MDM Bank Branch in Rostov-on-Don.

He started his career in banking in December 1995 at the Rostov branch of JSCB INKOMBANK as a specialist in the Securities Trading Unit. In 1997 he was appointed Head of Securities Trading and in 1999 – Head of the Branch. In November 1999, he moved to the Rostov branch of Vneshtorgbank as Deputy Head of the Branch.

Konstantin graduated from the Rostov-on-Don Institute of National Economy (RINH) in 1994 with a degree in Finance, Credit and Monetary Circulation.

Julia Kochetygova

Directorof Corporate Relations
Invited to Management Board on permanent basis

Julia Kochetygova was appointed Director of Corporate Relations of MDM Bank in June 2007. She is responsible for coordination of the Bank’s external relations, including relations with investors, government organizations and the press as well as social programs.

Prior to joining MDM Bank, Julia was Director of Governance Services at Standard & Poor’s (S&P), where her responsibilities included global management of Corporate Governance Scores (CGS), business development as well as analytical due diligence of corporate governance practices in Russia and other emerging markets. In her previous position at S&P, Julia was responsible for the company’s business development in Russia and the CIS.

Before joining S&P in 2000, Julia held a number of senior executive and analytical positions at SKATE Information and Consulting Agency (1995–1999) as well as taught and performed research at the Higher School of Economics and the Institute of Economics at the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Julia graduated from the Moscow Institute of National Economy named after Plekhanov as well as the World Bank School of Market Economy. She holds a PhD in Economics.

Mikhail Egorov

Head of Risk Management
Invited to Management Board on permanent basis

Mikhail Egorov has been working at MDM Bank since February 1997. His responsibilities include control of credit, market and operational risks. He has occupied several positions ranging from credit expert to Head of the Risk Department, the latter since March 2007. Prior to this appointment, he headed the Credit Products Division and the Credit Risks Division. He made substantial contribution to establishing a methodological base on loans and credit risks as well as to arranging the credit process in general.

In 1994, he graduated from Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman with a degree in Spacecraft and Booster Rockets. In 2000, he graduated from the All-Russian Correspondence Finance and Economic Institute with a degree in Finance and Credit.
