MDM FG Reports Solid Results in 2006

MDM Financial Group published its consolidated IFRS financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2006, which were audited by KPMG. For the year ended 31 December 2006, MDM Financial Group reported net attributable profit after taxation equivalent to RUR4,429 million (2005: RUR3,826).
Other highlights included:
- Net profit before minority interests increased to RUR4,451 million, compared to RUR3,853 million in 2005;
- Net interest and net fee income increased by 37% to RUR12,180 million, compared to RUR8,885 million in 2005;
- During the year, total gross loan portfolio grew by 78% to RUR171,374 million, compared to RUR 96,527 million in the end of 2005;
- Return on average equity for the 2006 stood at 16.1% compared with 17.2% ROAE for 2005;
- Total assets increased to RUR243,161 million (YE 2005: RUR160,611 million);
- Cost/Income ratio for the 2006 increased to 51.3% (2005: 49.6%).
